Happy New Year! We hope you have been enjoying the first quarter of 2009. Our team here at the Absolute Auction Center has been busy planning for the Spring. 2009 promises to be an exciting year. You may have noticed already the increasing use of electronic marketing and online only bidding with our Dynamic Online Only Auction Format. You are invited to buy and sell utilizing our custom designed software that is better than Ebay, as the clock extends when bids are received at the end of the auction. Therefore, bidding is not over until everyone is done bidding. We currently are selling antiques, artwork, collectibles, coins, furniture, rugs, and more via Dynamic Online Auction. County Tax Foreclosure Auctions:
Our New York State tax foreclosure season is now getting into full swing. The first auction of the year will be in Chemung County on March 25th. What does that mean for the Absolute staff? Both Sue Doyle, Frank Pietrzak and our other team members from Haroff Auction & Realty in Schroon Lake travel to the different Counties to gather data such as the deed and real property sheets. These are prepared in the office by Jenn Mensler to be uploaded to the website. Frank also loads up his vehicle with a GPS mapping system and a digital camera to locate properties and take photos that will be posted to the NYSauctions.com web site. Throughout this year Frank will be sending us photos so we can see what life is like out on the road...............

Dynamic Online Auctions
This online auction ending March 3 @ 8 p.m. will feature furniture, clocks, chandeliers and more. The silent auction website has a “dynamic ending” feature; if someone “sniper bids” on a lot at the scheduled end of the auction, the system will extend the clock two minutes to give everyone time to bid again. Get in on the fun! Auctions are the best way to buy good quality items “cheaper than new.”

What other qualities would we need to qualify this auctioneer as a real life James Bond? Perhaps we would want him to be strong, confident, loyal, dedicated, quick thinking, daring, imaginative, intellectual, innovative, fearless and also somewhat unorthodox and unpredictable. Vehicle and Equipment News
Buying or selling vehicles at Absolute Auction Center a viable option for Hudson Valley consumers. Philip Gableman, our Vehicle Coordinator, likes cars. As a matter of fact, you may have seen him zipping around in his cherry red Nissan Z. Phil takes great care in describing, photographing every possible angle of the vehicles in the auction, and marketing them thru email blasts and PennySaver ads. All information gathered is posted to our web site and set up for selling via the Dynamic Online Auction format.
